This is a well-known seaside resort. It is located south of Pescara. Francavilla and Pescara form a single urban unit. Francavilla stretches over a low-hilly and coastal territory. Thanks to its territorial structure there are several panoramic points from which you can see the city and the coast, from which the Costa dei Trabocchi begins.
