Ritorna beach
This is a small cove behind the lighthouse of Ortona at the bottom of the Aragonese castle. It takes its name from its use in the past. During the days of rough seas, it was used as a refuge by women which were waiting for the return of their husbands and sons. The beach is made up of pebbles that you can find also on the turquoise seabed.
The beach is easily accessible both from via del porto and arriving from the bike path.
